Excellent service from very knowledgeable advisor …

My husband and I had been thinking about Equity Release for a while now and we were put in contact with Andy Chiswick.
Andy was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, patient and explained Equity Release in full detail and answered all our questions.
He discussed other options too and gave ourselves time to discuss and make a decision.
Would definitely recommend Andy and HUB Financial Solutions.

Saga Equity Release

Our advisor Andy Chadwick spent three separate meetings with us explaining everything in full. There was no pressure to borrow and he advised us of the best product for our means.
The whole experience was relative straightforward and we would recommend to anyone looking to release money this way.

This company did everything that they promised in very good time. David Farrell was exceptionally good, he explained everything in great detail and in laymans language that we could understand. He was always there at the end of the phone if we had any queries. He made life very easy for us.

Jackie Hart

Very speedy and efficient service.
I would thoroughly recommend Hub Financial Solutions for equity release and especially Jackie Hart. The solicitors she recommended were hyper quick, 8 days from signing to completion.
The whole process from first contact to completion took just over 5 weeks.

HUGE DECISION, EXCELLENT ADVICE

My Advisor was warm, friendly, extremely knowledgable, and professional. She addressed my objectives expertly and advised accordingly. All of my many questions were answered clearly and promtly - both verbally and via eml. A huge financial and emotional decision was treated with empathy. I felt in very safe hands and very well advised. Arranged phone calls were received punctually with ample time given. A huge decision and milestone in my life was made much easier by her manner and expertise.

Straightforward explanation of process

The whole process was made very easy for us to follow with regular recaps to ensure understanding. We were encouraged to ask questions and at no time were we made to ill at ease. Despite the length of time needed to cover all points we were never rushed and were encouraged to explore all possibilities before making a decision.

Slow to no Response

Would not recommend this company - Started the process is Oct 23 actions still not completed

This is due to the company by not sending or requesting update to various people

Have chased the company for an up dates via call and emails only to be told query has now been logged as urgent - 3 weeks later updates of request have been sent via email to the Complaints Manager who responded to my query but has not responded to any further email - also sent emails to the inbox the Customer Service sent email from again no response from the company

Have not sent a formal request to refund the funds back to my previous provider due to the time frame taken to date 7 months is not acceptable ( Not For for Purpose)

Excellent advice and service.

I released equity with Saga Equity Release, through HUB Financial Solutions. My adviser, Clair Parfit provided excellent advice and guidance, while being friendly and courteous.
I wasn’t pressured to borrow more than I wanted or to proceed applying at all.
The mortgage application has gone through smoothly. More swiftly than I thought it would.
Excellent service that I can fully recommend.

Very satisfied customer

Jackie Hart the financial adviser who steered us thru the process was first class. She completed a very comprehensive review of our circumstances and ascertained what our aim was, throughout she explained options, risks, costs involved. We felt very comfortable that she was knowledgable and was using her expertise to allow us to make the best choice.
Overall a 5 star experience and we would happily recommend Jackie to family and friends. A very successful conclusion brokered by Jackie.

Do not use HUB you will not get what…

Do not use HUB you will not get what you are promised

I am 7 months into trying to get my annuity
Because HUB did not send the paperwork though to L and G in time
L and G offered me a lower amount
I have had to go to the FOS to sort this out
And can you believe the FOS are still waiting for the requested paperwork

Unprofessional service

I applied for my Zurich pension to be transferred to an annuity with L & G, but L & G say they are waiting on HUB. I've tried contacting HUB via email, but they don't respond, and in fact I've heard nothing from them since I submitted my application. VERY unprofessional service.

Probably the most unorganised company I…

Probably the most unorganised company I have ever dealt with. Takes at least an hour on hold every time you need to speak to somebody. They have dragged out the process for over 5 months, not asking for the relevant information up front and then requesting basic information months later, further delaying payment. I wouldn't recommend and would advise people to stay clear of using them. Call centre staff never seem to be able to help either.

Honest advice

We have recently had a discussion with Jack Wilby of HUB financial solutions. He spent two hours looking at our finances and getting to the heart of what we wanted to achieve and what would be the best solution for us. The solution for us didn’t involve buying into any new financial products. We were delighted at the straightforward advice which was definitely customer centered. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jack.

Jackie Hart

Jackie Hart, our advisor, was just amazing. The whole process was explained in terms we understood. Extremely helpful. Very kind and pleasant.
Even though we had the Christmas break, we have been kept up to date, surveyor and solicitor were booked in so quickly. Jackie’s team have kept us updated every step of the way, as Jackie has. I can’t praise her enough. An absolute asset to the company.

Steve Harris

We requested advice and help from Hub Financial solutions and made an appointment to speak to an advisor on November 10th, Steve (Harris) who was very courteous and honest. Steve listened and helped us with advice in an open and honest way. We felt completely at ease and he listened to all aspects of our concerns going forward. Reassurance and guidance with regard to our decisions were welcome and positive. We will speak to Steve again at a later date, thank you for your help.
